The complete trip
From your door
to the destination.
BoroWay unifies place search, walking directions, live MTA bus predictions, the official subway network, automatically refreshed train arrival estimates, accessibility and service changes. Train departures name the actual terminal, and expandable bus arrivals explain the stop, destination, live minutes and stops away—so riders never have to decode transit jargon.
The clearest complete route
BoroWay chooses the fastest expected trip across walking, buses and subway by default, with optional bus-only and subway-focused preferences when you need them.
Automatic live navigation
One Start live navigation button. Pan or zoom without the map snapping back, tap Entire route for the full journey, and Recenter to follow your location again.
What is near you—made unmistakable
Open the nearest bus stop to see every route serving it, its destination, live minutes and stops away. Nearby subway departures use the actual terminal—not just northbound or southbound—and show when the data was refreshed.
Alerts with real context
Live guidance advances from your movement—not a clock-only guess—while relevant Pulse and major service-change alerts stay focused on your route.
Changes, explained
Delays, suspensions and planned work rise to the top instead of hiding inside a wall of text.
BoroWay Pulse
Report what you see with a prominent, privacy-safe control and receive short-lived alerts from nearby riders only when they affect your route.
Pro Commute Watch
Set your regular departure days and times. Commute Watch checks for meaningful trip changes when iOS permits background activity. Open the app for current conditions.
Your language from the first tap
Choose English, Spanish, French, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese or Korean. BoroWay translates its complete interface while keeping official bus routes, subway lines, station names and destinations exact.
