Pulse Community Guidelines
Effective August 27, 2026
BoroWay Pulse exists to help riders understand short-lived conditions relevant to their trip. It is a safety and navigation input—not a social network, rumor feed or substitute for emergency services.
Report only what you personally observe
You must be near the selected station. Choose the most accurate structured category, train and direction. Do not guess, repeat rumors or submit a report to influence someone else’s travel.
Protect people
Never attempt to identify, describe, photograph, follow, threaten, harass or profile another person. Reports must not target protected characteristics. Pulse intentionally does not publish free text, names, photos or reporter identities.
Immediate danger
Move to a safe place and call 911 for immediate danger or a medical emergency. Follow instructions from emergency personnel and transit employees. A Pulse report does not contact emergency services.
Confirm responsibly
Use “Still there” or “Not there” only while nearby and based on what you can personally observe. Confirmations affect report visibility and reporter trust.
Moderation and enforcement
Use the in-app flag control for a false, abusive or unsafe report. Reports may be hidden automatically while reviewed. Repeated manipulation can result in device suspension or permanent loss of reporting access. To report an urgent moderation issue or appeal a restriction, email hello@boroway.app.
