BoroWay is designed to help people navigate New York without turning their movement into a product. This policy explains the limited information processed by BoroWay, a product of NinetySix Technologies LLC.

Information you provide

If you contact support or later create an account, we process only the information needed to answer the request or provide the selected feature. This policy will be updated before additional categories of personal information are collected.

Location information

The iPhone app may request location access to find nearby stations, plan routes and provide active-trip guidance. Precise location is processed for the requested feature and is not sold. BoroWay does not maintain a location-history advertising profile.

Transit and diagnostic information

We may process coarse usage and reliability information needed to operate the service, prevent abuse and diagnose crashes. We minimize retention, avoid cross-app advertising identifiers and do not sell personal information.

Service providers

Limited information may be processed by infrastructure, analytics, communications and App Store providers acting on our behalf. Apple separately processes App Store purchases under Apple’s terms.

Your choices

You may disable location or notifications in iOS Settings. You may request access, correction or deletion of information associated with you by contacting privacy@boroway.app.

Children

BoroWay is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.
